Some Old Stuff

Here are some pop art pieces I've done over the years, mostly back in my high school days when I first painted in this style. It's a very fun, simple way to paint, especially when the paint you're working with goes on the canvas opaque, which is actually my biggest problem. I've tried practically every brand of acrylic paint out there, painted dry- and wet-brush, tried gesso and no gesso, and about 80% of the time the paints are translucent. Any suggestions/help?

Anyhoo, the paintings here are: The Beatles, Al Pacino, and Darren Hayes. Not for sale since they were based directly from famous/copyrighted photos.

Note: Uploading images and trying to place them neatly in the blog space WITHOUT messing up what you've typed in the process is really annoying. Any tips on this also?
